Throughout history, people have sought out more effective ways to work together. Dating back to the ancient kingdoms and tribal leaders to the modern-day Industry 4 enabled organisation, this question remains an evolving phenomenon. Researcher Fredric Laloux presented a concise overview of this evolving history in his publication Reinventing Organisations.

As such, he informed his audiences’ thinking on at least five major workplace paradigms that are still prevalent in today’s organisations. These paradigms become the foundation worldview and identity statements through which business leaders build and run their companies.

The Organisation Culture Map is an online tool based on Laloux’s research that will assist leaders in understanding how their thinking translated into the design of their organisations. By making use of the tool, leaders will gain insight into several business system components and which paradigm informed their thinking.The tool is then further used to strategically align all system components to the desired paradigm in order to optimally drive the company’s strategy.
